John Alleyne (1695-1718)

He was born December 23, 1695, at Covent Garden in London. In 1718, he married Mary Terrill, daughter of William Terrill of Cabbage Tree (later Alleynedale Hall). He was educated at Magdalene College, Oxford. He inherited the Four Hills plantations in Barbados from his father. He died at Bath, England, in 1730 and is buried at Bath Abbey. John and Mary had five children one son and four daughters.
