Mrs Jane Josephine (Sarmiento) Craig, Biddle

She was the granddaughter of Catherine (Craig) Sarmiento. She was long reputed to be have been one of the three most beautiful women in Philadelphia, with Mrs James S. Wadsworth, and Mrs John Butler. She was married twice, both times to her first cousins: she was the widow of John C. Craig when she married Edward C. Biddle with whom she had six children, four (listed) lived to adulthood.
