James Stewart Derbishire (1851-1887)

He was born at Quebec and started his education at Bishop's College, Lennoxville, before being placed under the care of a private tutor in England. From there, he went to Magdalen College, Oxford, where he "Imbibed that love of classics which lasted through life."
