James Sinclair Grant Milne (1892-1944)
Major James Sinclair Grant Milne, of Villa El Patio, Cannes
He was educated at Marlborough College and Trinity College, Cambridge. From the 1920s lived at Villa El Patio, La Croisette, Cannes. In 1929, he married the widow of Sir Frederick Orr-Lewis. He was a member of the French Resistance during World War II and was shot by the Germans on the bridge going into Vence.
