Isabelle Smith (b.1871)

She was the second wife of John F. Dodge - a rebound marriage after he was so devastated by the death of his first wife that it threatened not only his health, but his business too. They were married in 1902 but were quietly divorced five years later so that he could marry Matilda Rausch. John and Isabelle's brief marriage was kept so entirely under wraps that it remained secret even to his own children up until 1980.
