Howard Elliott (1860-1928)

President of the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad Co.

He started his career on the trains as a lever rods man before retiring as President and Chairman of the Board of the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad Co. His daughter married into American aristocracy when she married Edmund Pendleton Rogers, Franklin D. Roosevelt's "most enduring childhood friend".
