Herman Thong Livingston (1856-1936)

of "Oak" Hill, Linlithgo & New York City; Vice-President of the Sinclair Oil Company

He was born in New York City and graduated from Yale University in the Class of 1879. He owned oil fields in Virginia and was Vice-President of the Sinclair Oil Company. He was the fourth generation of the family to own and occupy Oak Hill. He was a Republican and a Presidential Elector when Harrison was defeated.
