Henry Bromfield (1610-1683)
M.P., of Chawcroft House, Hampshire; Bow-Bearer to King Charles II etc.
He was born in Hampshire and was elected the Member of Parliament for Lymington in 1660. He also held the sinecure positions as Verderer of the New Forest and Bow-Bearer to King Charles II. He married Frances Kempe, heiress of Heywood, and their younger son, Edward, settled in Boston, Massachusetts.
