Henry Bowen (c.1778-1821)
Lt.-Colonel Henry Bowen, C.B., of the 16th Madras Native Infantry
He recounted a military campaign in the East Indies in which he fought in a latter to his mother in December 1817. He died at Seringapatam, India, in 1821.
