Harmon Pumpelly (1795-1882)

of 1 Elk Street, Albany, New York; President of the Albany Savings Bank etc.

He was President of the Albany Savings Bank; the Albany Insurance Company; and, the Albany Gaslight Company. His first wife, Delphine Drake, was the daughter of John R. Drake, U.S. Congressman from New York and projector of the New York & Erie Railroad. They had two daughters (listed). After Delphine died he moved to Albany and in 1841 married Maria Brinckerhoff, without issue.
