Hans von Francken-Sierstorpff (1895-1944)
Count "Johnny" Hans Francken-Sierstorpff, of Pasadena, California
He married Princess Elisabeth Hohenlohe-Öhringen, granddaughter of Prince Hugo zu Hohenlohe-Öhringen, Politician and Mining Industrialist. Hans "fled Hitler's Germany, leaving his wife, a Nazi sympathizer, and their grown children behind". He divorced her in absentia and in 1942 married Clotilde Knapp. After his death, his widow married U.S. Under Secretary of State for Administration, Charles E. Saltzman.
