Hans Busk (1718-1792)
Hans Busk, of Leeds, Yorkshire
He married Martha, daughter and heiress of Richard Rodes of Long Houghton Hall and Bull House, Peniston. South Yorkshire. His son died young. His two daughters were married (each with reputed dowries of £100,000) to the brothers James and Richard (of Fryston Hall) Milnes, both Members of Parliamant and respected merchants of Wakefield. Busk left a fortune of £150,000 on his death in 1792.
