Elspeth Angus (1929-2018)
Grace Elspeth "Elsie" Angus of Chateau Westmount; died unmarried
She was born at Montreal and was educated at The Study School for Girls, Kings Hall Compton, and McGill University (B.Sc., M.Sc.). After obtaining her degrees, she lived in England and then returned to work in the Department of Pathology at McGill with Dr. W.M. Thurlbeck. She was the family historian and was instrumental in preserving the mission of the Royal Victoria Hospital property in Montreal, as well as providing leadership in archival work at the Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul.
