Mrs. Gertrude (Sard) Clark
Her miniature seen here was painted by Carl A. Weidner in 1905. According to the Encyclopedia of American Biography (1934), "Mrs Clark was a woman of rare poise and gracious charm. She was greatly beloved by her wide circle of friends, and her influence was always a wholesome and constructive force in the lives of those around her." She and her husband were the parents of two children.
