George Cooke Ogle (1817-1890)
Dr George Cooke Ogle, of "Belair" Prince George's County, Maryland
He graduated from the Maryland School of Medicine in 1838. He inherited Belair and divided the plantation with his brother, Richard. George kept the portion with the house where he lived until he was forced to sell to cover his debts in 1871. He lived for the remainder of his life in Baltimore. In 1853, he married his first cousin at 'Hazlewood". They were the parents of two sons, both of whom died without children.
