Gen. George Clinton (1739-1812)

4th Vice-President of the United States & 1st Governor of New York

He was Vice President (1805-1812) under President James Madison and was the uncle of DeWitt Clinton, Governor of New York. He married Cornelia Tappen and they were the parents of five children (listed).
