Gen. Stephen Moore (1734-1799)
of Mount Tirzah, Person Co., North Carolina
He inherited his father's property, White Hall, in New York but after the Revolution retired to Mount Tirzah, selling the White Hall estate to the U.S. Government, which is now the site of the U.S. Military Academy West Point.
