Frederick Parker (1806-1861)
Whaler & Merchant, of Acushnet Avenue, New Bedford, Massachusetts
He graduated from Brown University and became a partner in his father's whaling ventures and continued in business as a merchant after his father's death in 1853. He died without children of his own but adopted the orphaned daughter of his wife's eldest brother, to whom he left his fortune.
