Frederick Mackenzie (1841-1889)

The Hon. Frederick Mackenzie, M.P., of Montreal

He was born in Montreal and was educated at McGill University. He was called to the bar in 1862 and served as a Captain in the militia during the Fenian Raids. He was a secretary for the Church of England in Quebec and Montreal and as a Liberal represented Montreal West in the House of Commons of Canada from 1874 to 1875. He died in Boston, Massachusetts.
