She was born in Lagnieu in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France, daughter of Dr. Francisque Prudon. She was married in Geneva in 1927. In World War I, she was attached to a hospital in Geneva and was in the ambulance service with the French Army. She died in New York City at their residence, the Hotel Seville.
