Francis Welch (1776-1867)
of 10 Louisburg Square, Boston; Merchant & President of the Franklin Insurance Co.
He was married in 1803 after which he lived at the Stackpole House in Boston before it was sold by his brother-in-law. He died at his home 10 Louisburg Square (see images). He married Margaret, daughter of William Stackpole, Wine Merchant, of Boston, and they had 11-children, eight of whom (listed) survived infancy.
