Francis Robert Rives Jr. (1853-1890)

of Freehold, New Jersey

He was born in England, in Westmorland. He was educated by Mr Philpot at Littlehampton in Sussex before being admitted to Trinity College, Cambridge, in 1871 when his father's address was given as "Burnside" Westmorland. He was married twice. His second wife survived him and died at her home in England, Shenstone House, Berkshire.
