Francis Emory Warren (1844-1929)

U.S. Senator from and Governor of Wyoming

He was born in Massachusetts, won the Medal of Honor in the Civil War, and became wealthy as a rancher and real estate developer in Wyoming. Entering politics as a Republican, he was assumed to be the wealthiest man in the State of Wyoming. He was married twice and had two children by his first marriage.
