Florence Mathews, of New York & Norwalk, Connecticut; died unmarried
Florence neither married nor had children, but she was devoted to her nephews and nieces. She divided her time between the family mansion on 5th Avenue and at their summer home in Norwalk, Connecticut, with vacations spent in Europe and Maine. She was remembered for her kindness and charitable work. On inheriting the mansion in Norwalk, she kept it as her father had kept it.
