Mrs Elizabeth (Desbrosses) Hunter

She and her sister, Charlotte, were the sole heirs of their father who was said to worth $1 million when he died in 1807, and was considered by all to have been the wealthiest man in New York. Between Elizabeth and Charlotte they divided the 60,000 acres he had acquired which was part of the Hardenburgh Patent at New York.
