Madam Eliza (Bowen) Jumel, Burr; died without children

She grew up in a mixed-race brothel in Providence, Rhode Island, but went on to marry a wealthy merchant and then Aaron Burr, Vice-President of the United States. She had no children by either marriage but brought up her niece, Mary, with her first husband.
