Eleanor Joy (1868-1936)
Mrs Eleanor (Joy) Busk, of The Grange, Westerham, Kent
She was the daughter of Charles Joy (1823-1891), Professor of Chemistry at Columbia University (1857-1877), New York. Her husband was born and grew up between New York and Newport but came from an English family - his grandparents lived at Ascot Place in Berkshire.
