Edward Tilghman (1786-1860)
Edward Tilghman, of "White House" Kent Co., Maryland
He married his cousin, Anna Maria Tilghman, through whom he inherited the "White House" where they lived in Kent County, Maryland. They had just one daughter, "Ellen" for whom the original Ellenborough was named.
