Dr James Robinson Nichols (1819-1888)
Dr James R. Nichols, M.D., of Haverhill, Massachusetts
He was born at Amesbury but came to Haverhill in the employment of his distinguished uncle, Moses Nichols (1799-1893). He became a physician, pharmacist, inventor, author, railroad director, science editor and agriculturist.
