Diana Meredith (Oakes) Conger (1945-2012)
of Bethesda, Maryland; President of the Maryland Wildlife Rehabilitators Association
She was Founder and Director of the Last Chance Wildlife Center, and Co-Founder and President of the Maryland Wildlife Rehabilitators Association. In 1971, "Di" married William F. Conger who served in Vietnam and established the William F. Conger Scholarship for Veterans at the University of Maryland. She died without children.
