David James Angus (1875-1948)
of Victoria, British Columbia
He was born at Montreal and was educated there at Eliock School and then in England at Trinity College, Cambridge. Returning to Canada, he joined the legal firm of Brown, Montgomery & McMichael and was called to the Bar of Quebec in 1904. In 1914, he married Elsie Muriel, daughter of Harry Stikeman of Montreal, and in the same year they settled at Victoria, British Columbia, where they lived for the rest of their lives on Rockland Avenue. They were the parents of two sons and a daughter.
