Craig Biddle (1823-1910)

of "Andalusia" and Judge of the Court of Common Pleas, Philadelphia

He served during the Civil War on the staff of General Robert Patterson and Governor Andrew G. Curtin. He was seated on the platform when Abraham Lincoln gave his famous Gettysburg Address. He was the caretaker of "Andalusia" where he lived with his sisters Adèle (1828-1909) and Jane (1830-1915).
