Constance Lodge (Gardner) Taylor (1894-1941)

Mrs Constance Lodge (Gardner) Minot, Taylor

She was well-known in Boston, North Shore and Philadelphia society, and before then in Washington and international circles - her first husband having been a diplomat. She had three husbands: Grafton Winthrop Minot (1915-1922); William Gordon Means (1924-1930); and, Presley Morgan Taylor (married 1930). In the early 1930s, she inherited an interest in her uncle William Amory Gardner's $4-million estate. She was survived by three children and died at her home, 2008 Delancey Street, Philadelphia.
