Col. Samuel Waldo (1723-1770)

Colonel, Judge & Member of the General Court of Massachusetts

He was born at Boston and graduated from Harvard (1743). He was a Member of the General Court of Massachusetts and a Colonel in the British Army (1744). He later became a Judge of the Probate Court (1760) at Boston. He was married twice: (1) Grizzell, daughter of Andrew Oliver, Lieutenant-Governor of Massachusetts (2) Sarah, daughter of John Erving, Merchant of Boston and they had six children.
