Clement Clarke (b.1752)

Clement C. Clarke, of New York

He predeceased his mother who died in 1802. He had one son, Thomas Bayard Clarke, born out of wedlock but named in Clement's mother's will, leaving him a farm, house and lot of land in Chelsea. Thomas Bayard Clarke of the City of New York married ?Catherine? in 1803 and had three children before his wife died in 1815: (1) Catherine Harrison Clarke (1807-1849) married in 1827 Charles Alexander Williamson, of Lawers House, Perthshire, Scotland (2) Isabel Mary Clarke (b.1809), married in 1835 Rupert J. Cochran (3) Bayard Clarke (1815-1884), U.S. Representative from New York, married in 1843 Alletta Remsen Lawrence, daughter of Thomas R. Lawrence.
