Pursuing a Doctorate at New York University, she returned to Oxford to complete her Doctor of Philosophy degree in international relations (2011).
Throughout her career, she has focused on public service and advocacy, particularly in areas of health, education, and women's rights. As an author, she has written several children's books and works on public policy. In 2010, she was married at Astor Courts to Marc Mezvinsky. They have 3-children.
