Mrs Charlotte "Marguerite" (de Montmollin) Marler

She was the illegitimate daughter of John Samuel de Montmollin (1765-1810), of Savannah, Georgia, by "an unnamed woman in Vergennes, Vermont, whose identity is unknown to both the Marler and de Montmollin families. Charlotte was raised in the household of the Decareau family in Montreal and with her grandmother, Jane (Bell) de Montmollin (1728-1822), before marrying Leonard Marler in 1807.
