Charles Willing (1738-1788)
Charles Willing, Merchant, of Philadelphia & Barbados
He was born at Philadelphia and for many years was a merchant in Barbados where he married his wife in 1760. He retired to Coventry Farm in Delaware Co., Pennsylvania, where he died. After his death, his wife returned to Barbados where she died. They were survived by two daughters who were both born in Philadelphia: (1) Elizabeth, married John Forster Alleyne (2) Ann, married Luke Morris.
