Charles Stratton Dana (1834-1922)

Iron & Steel Merchant, of 300 Berkeley St., Boston & Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts

He was born in Watertown, Massachusetts. In 1866, in New York City, he married Marie (named for her mother) Grogan. She was born in France to Anglo-Irish parents - her father, James Grogan, was of "Glenbank" near Belfast in Co. Antrim, before coming to New York City. They kept a summer home at Buzzard's Bay.
