Charles Merrill (1935-2010)
of Dublin, North Carolina, & Palm Beach.
He was not related to the Merrill-Lynch family as he once claimed. He is described in Jerry Oppenheimer's book on the Johnson & Johnson family as, "an artist, a one time professional tennis player, also a former foundry worker; furniture refinisher; soda jerk; factory operator; horse groom; cook; photographer; tarot card reader; charming walker of rich, elderly women - and flamboyant gay."
