Charles Goodwin Ridgely (1784-1848)
Commander in the U.S. Navy & Flag Officer of the West Indies Squadron
He was born "Charles Goodwin" but took the name "Ridgely" as co-heir (with his first cousin, Charles Carnan Ridgely) to his uncle, Charles Ridgely, of Hampton.
