Charles Elizur Hart (1865-1924)
Charles E. Hart Sr., President of the Orleans County National Bank, Albion, N.Y.
Born at the home of his maternal grandparents in Alton, Illinois. He grew at Albion and was educated at Albion Union School. In 1885, he started his career within the family-owned Orleans County National Bank. But, the following year he left for Arizona to pursue various real estate projects there. He returned to Albion in 1890, re-entering the bank. When his father died three years later, Charles was elected President.
