Mrs "Carrie" Caroline Marshall (Roberts) Van Wart

She left New York with her husband in 1870 and from then on lived almost continually in Europe. She was well known in fashionable circles in Paris and Nice, and after having spent several months in Monte Carlo in an effort to improve her health she died at her home in London, 2 South Street, Park Lane. She and her husband, the sculptor Ames Van Wart, were the parents of just one child.
