Burton Norvell Harrison (1838-1904)

Secretary & General Counsel for the New York Rapid Transit Authority

He was the personal secretary to Confederate President Jefferson Davis and was taken prisoner by the Union Army. After the war, he settled in New York and was Secretary & General Counsel for the New York Rapid Transit Authority.
