Benjamin Adams (1781-1858)

Merchant, of 30 Pemberton Square, Boston, Massachusetts

He was a merchant in partnership with his brother, Caleb Adams. After Caleb died in 1828, he went into partnership with another brother, Charles Frederick Adams, in Adams, Homer & Co. He died leaving a widow (Louisa, daughter of Lynde Walter) and four married daughters (listed). To his widow, "with whom he had passed the happiest part of his life - he left his mansion house in Pemberton Square, together with his interest in a club stable, his horses, carriages, and certain other estate".
