Archibald Hamilton Campbell (b.1863)

Archibald Hamilton Campbell, Jr., of Toronto

He was educated at Loretto School outside Edinburgh and at the University of Toronto. He entered the lumber business and became the Manager of the Muskoka Mill & Lumber Company. In 1935, he was awarded the King's Jubilee Medal and the following year he was appointed Vice-President of the Consumer's Gas Co., Toronto. He was also a director of the Bank of Toronto and the Toronto General Trusts Corporation. In 1883, he married Jessie, daughter of Senator Donald MacInnes of Dundurn Castle, and they were the parents of three children. Archibald's sister, Amy, married Reginald Wolferstan Thomas, whose first cousin, Millicent Wolferstan Thomas, was married to Jessie's brother, Brigadier-General Duncan Sayre MacInnes
