Annie (Kerr) Ross (1847-1915)

Mrs Annie (Kerr) Ross

She was born at Kingston, New York. She was President of the Montreal Maternity Hospital; Director of the Society of Decorative Art; and, Vice-President of the Numismatical & Antiquarian Society. In 1902, she opened the Ross Memorial Hospital built by her husband at Lindsay, Ontario. She was one of the first to donate to the Patriotic Fund and other similar funds for the relief of suffering caused by World War I. She had just one son.
