Annie Burr Jennings (1855-1939)
Annie Burr Jennings, of Fairfield, Connecticut
She financed the creation of the Birdcraft Sanctuary at Fairfield - the oldest private songbird sanctuary in the States. It was created in conjunction with her friend, the prolific author Mabel Osgood Wright.
