Mrs "Annie" Neilson (Winthrop) Curtis
She was married at Paris in 1871 to Horatio G. Curtis, a commission merchant and amateur artist of Boston whose brother bought and refurbished the fabled Palazzo Barbaro in Venice. They spent much time travelling in Europe and after her husband died she lived for a period in England before returning to America where she divided her time between 179 Marlboro Street in Boston and her summer home where she died in Nahant, Massachusetts. She and her husband died without children.
