Anne McKee Armstrong (1864-1925)

Mrs "Annie" (Armstrong) Stewart, Smith, de Saint Cyr

She was born in Baltimore, Maryland. Her great-grandmother's (Mrs Jane Alrick's) brother was married to Harriet Washington, niece of George Washington. Her younger sister, Rita, was married to Anthony J. Drexel Jr., of Philadelphia. Anne was married three times. When died she left $40 million which was divided equally between her last husband, Mr Saint-Cyr, and her two notable children: (1) Anita Princess de Braganza, and (2) William R. Stewart, "the best dressed man in New York City".
